Our Laboratory Fume Extractor is a high-performance local exhaust ventilation device engineered to rapidly capture and discharge dust, hot air, volatile vapors, and hazardous gases generated during experiments or production processes. Designed for installation directly above benchtop activities, it safeguards researchers by removing airborne contaminants at the source—before they disperse into the breathing zone.

Built with high-density polypropylene (PP) components, 304 stainless steel linkages, and all-copper tightening knobs, this extractor combines chemical resistance, mechanical durability, and ergonomic positioning. Its 360° rotating arm offers extensive reach across large work areas, while the manual airflow control valve allows precise suction adjustment for different tasks.

• Joints: High-density PP, 360° rotatable, easy disassembly/reassembly for cleaning.
• Joint Seals: High-density rubber rings, age-resistant, installed internally for smooth rotation and tight sealing.
• Connecting Rods: 304 stainless steel—corrosion-proof and structurally rigid.
• Tightening Knobs: All-copper core with embedded stainless steel bearings for slip-free locking.

• Collection Hood: Arch/cup-shaped; high-density PP or PC; standard diameter 0.375 mm for efficient capture.
• Airflow Valve: External manual knob regulates suction intensity for different experiment types.
• Tube Assembly: High-density PP connecting tube (0.75 mm) and base tube (0.90 mm); chemically inert.

• Fixed Base: One-piece injection-molded PP; no adhesives; secured to lab ceiling with M8 expansion screws.

Position the hood directly over emission points—beakers, hotplates, reactors—to intercept contaminants immediately. This targeted extraction prevents inhalation exposure and reduces the burden on central HVAC filtration.

PP construction withstands acids, bases, and organic solvents, ensuring long service life without coating degradation. Stainless steel and copper elements resist corrosion in humid, vapor-rich environments.

The 360° rotating arm and multi-axis joints allow operators to reposition the hood quickly between tasks, improving ergonomics and reducing setup time.
